FYRLYT
It is easy to be confused by advertising and 'advertorial' hype when comparing driving lights. Candlepower, lux, lumens, LED, HID, photo comparisons and even photometrics often blur the truth and the ownership reality. Let's get back to a basic consideration.
A driving light's output & product quality is the:
SUM & RELATIONSHIP of its physical COMPONENTS.
1: BULB (incandescent, hid or led - All very different!)
2: REFLECTOR (shape, thermal tolerance, reflectivity and durability)
3: OPTICS (lens & other surfaces - optical values and durability)
It is therefore possible to have as often is the case a high output bulb with a compromised reflector and or lens/filter design that results in poor light output performance. Additionally, product durability is defined by the housing and mount design, materials and manufacturing.
At FYRLYT we take a pragmatic design approach on combining all relevant features into the best possible design and outcome.
