Traction Bars
ProComp's racy style, double tube design traction bars are functional and great looking. They are specifically engineered for lifted vehicles. While most traction bars are designed to only reduce axle wrap-up, ProComp Suspension Traction Bars are designed to allow suspension articulation as well. The exclusive reverse hourglass shaped urethane bushings allow the needed stability to reduce spring wrap, while allowing the traction bars to flex for articulation. Select GM applications are engineered to accommodate twin ProComp ES Series shock absorbers per side. With the addtion of this shock option kit greater suspension damping is added to the rear axle. Traction bars mount to the frame and axle. The rear axle mounting plate is positioned between the axle spring plate and the lift block. This mounting system results in a secure installation while losing no valuable ground clearance common in most "street" traction bar kits.
